New Year, old disasters

For those who don't know, my aunt passed away the day after Boxing day, shortly after the tsunami. We found out about the tsunami later that night, and lie most other Malaysians, we were worried about our relatives in Penang. Thank God that not only were they safe, but my friends in Penang were safe too. The saddest thing of all that happened though, was that my aunt died the day after that. One thing that came into mind that perhaps the two losses were linked. My aunt was one of those people who made life fun no matter the situation and pain.

I don't know. There were so many prayers this New Year.
